Fifth Butterfly Ball raises funds for sick kids

We are thrilled to announce that our “Viva Las Vegas” Butterfly Ball on Saturday night was a huge success! With over 650 of Touched By Olivia Foundation's supporters, we shopped, danced and partied in style for an incredibly worthy cause – to raise $150,000 for Sydney Children's Hospital. Thanks to the generosity and kindness of our sponsors and supporters on the night, we not only reached our target, but we smashed it by raising a total profit of$190,000 - of which 100% will go to the Hospital!! The funds raised enable Touched By Olivia Foundation to continue our 3 year commitment to fund the Vascular Birthmarks Clinical and Research Fellowship at Sydney Children’s Hospital, a vitally important Fellowship that aims to position the hospital as a centre of expertise in this area of rare disease.

The Butterfly Ball was fabulous fun all night long. From the casino lounge and quickie Elvis weddings complete with lifesize “Elvis” Cake, to the entertaining performances of “Tom Jones”, “Elvis” and the gorgeous Show Girls, all brought together in style by our incredibly talented MC and Ambassador Jay Laga’aia, the Butterfly Ball screamed “Vegas” from start to finish. We’re enjoying the pictures being shared on our Facebook page.

Although it was our final Butterfly Ball (well, for at least some time!) our work is definitely not ending. In fact, we're embarking on the next stage of our journey that will have many fantastic opportunities for you to continue to be involved. So stay subscribed to our newsletter, follow us on Facebook or give us a call. We'd love to hear how you've been touched.

Our sincere thanks goes to our sponsors and to all those who donated, MC Jay Laga’aia, our entertainers, and our passionate and energetic volunteers who worked tirelessly all night long. Last, but not least, thank you to our guests for embracing the night with happy faces and generous hearts. Without each and every one of you, the night would never have been the success it was!
