Star of Australian Children's Television Jay Laga’aia appointed ambassador to Touched By Olivia Foundation

Today, founders of Touched by Olivia Foundation announced the appointment of one of Australia’s most diverse performers and star of children’s television, Jay Laga’aia, as the ambassador for their children’s health promotion charity.

Butterfly Ball - Saturday 2nd May 2009 - Darling Harbour

What an enchanted evening!

Touched By Olivia Foundation would like to thank you all for attending our annual Butterfly Ball and making it a truly memorable night. We raised $150,115 on the night that will go towards Sydney Children's Hospital to become the global centre of expertise for the treatment of vascular malformations and tumours.Special thanks must go to the lovely Jay Laga'aia, Alice Peacock, Dr Michael Brydon, Brent St Kids, Hilton, St George, Christy Shelper and DJ, the John Field Band who the rocked the night and of course our fabulous volunteers, many of which came from Geekdom

Family Fun Fair 08 - Huge success!
Sunday 16th November 2008

Family Fun Fair was a huge success with over 12,000 people attending, 140 volunteers and generating almost $65,000 towards Phase 2 of the upgrade of Timbrell Park, Five Dock to an all abilities standard.

WE WON!! True Local Business Awards - Community Contribution

The Touched By Olivia Foundation has been recognised for their huge dedication to the community by winning the 2008 Community Contribution Award from True Local Business Awards. Announced on the 22nd of October 2008 at a gala dinner, the award recognises the effort and dedication over the past two years since establishment of the Foundation.

“We were truly humbled and proud to win the “Community Contribution” award in the Local Business Awards. We see this as a great achievement for the work of our volunteers in to realising our vision of raising vital funds for healthier and happier children,” John Perkins, Director of the Touched By Olivia Foundation said.
